As these are for pre 1837 a look through the parish records would be needed. As you live quite a distance away here is a link to the Essex family history society they have a search service. See link below.

Dear Julie,

Many thanks for your quick reply to my enquiry. Unfortunately the name does appear anywhere on the search. However, the Essex Family history Society sounds like it may be a good organisation to join if all other options are exhausted. Sounds like a specialized search after joining might be the way to go.
