graves weaste

have been to weaste cemetary 3 times but cannot
find the grave of thomas e hesketh who died in 1870
could his stone have been blown up by the german
bomb in the war.
how could I find out, or does anyone have the grave
numbers of weaste as it is difficult to travel by bus
from blackpool.

Re: graves weaste

Hello and to FHUK

There is a partial list here but Thomas is not included: - HERE

I'm wondering how you know Thomas was buried in Weaste Cemetery. Have you been in contact with Salford City Council?

Details of grave searches - HERE

Regards,

Dave

Re: graves weaste

thank you for your prompt reply dave.
I know he is buried at weaste because on his
wifes gravestone at southern cemetary it says he
was buried at weaste.
why they are in separate graves though is a puzzle
but she did outlive him by about 42 years.
