Orpington Car

General Interest question.
I have read, "The Orpington Car, built by Frank Smith & Jack Milroy at their works in Wellington Road, was shown at the 1920 Motor Show and won a prize." but not found any on line photos of one. Any suggestions please?

Re: Orpington Car

Those photos hid from me! I will now stand in the corner wearing a pointy hat with a large "D" on it.

A big boy made me ask sir.

Thanks, excellent pictures.

Re: Orpington Car

The second one seems be debatable, but why anyone would want to spend a load of money putting a new body on a cheap Ford Model T.

Steve.

"new body on a cheap Ford Model T"

Just confirms the suspicions I have had of Orpingtonites since moving here. Money and taste are not the same thing.

Thought you might like to know that item 2 in the first answer to your query is NOT an Orpington car, but self-styled 'experts' think they know better.

For information purposes, there is now a new book published about the Orpington car
