I don't know how long George was in prison. If he was still in prison in 1851 then he should be on the census depending where in London that prison was - ie not the areas with missing census records. I still don't know when he died but before 1861. No reg with even one of his middle names and lots of just George.
The Debtors’ Prisons in London are five in number. They are, the QUEEN’S BENCH, the FLEET, the MARSHALSEA, WHITE CROSS-STREET, and HORSEMONGER-LANE prisons.
