s/o John & Elizabeth brother Thomas 17.

Is it the same one? I have no idea.

The one you just found is he with both parents or did you get parents off a baptism record or something?

I have one William BLACKLEY in my tree born abt 1856 Liverpool, son of Thomas & Janet. I can't find his birth reg or his baptism or his marriage or his death so I'm looking to eliminate all I can find with a variation of the name. Almost a dozen variations.

This one I presume is the 14 yo born W Derby so that's not my William.

I can find no baptism for William (not including a middle name) on FS or Lancs OPC for 1857 +/- 5 years with Father = John and mother = for several variations of the family name.

I can find William H. born 1857 Liverpool in 1881.

I can find William H. born 1857 West Derby in 1881.

I cannot see a William born Liverpool 1857 in 1881.

This birth accounts for the William aged 22 in 1881 which is not my William as a younger sibling Isabella was born in 1859. None of the six siblings in my tree have a middle name.
