Dunn family from South Shields, Co Durham

The records I have show my family as far back as I have gone started in South Shields, moved to Wark Northumberland, then Newcastle Upon Tyne, my gt grandfather lost contact with his family and moved to Sunderland and married my grandmother nee Holland in 1917. My grandmother's grandfather John Holland was from Cork Ireland.

It would be great if anyone could help with this.

I would love to find some living relatives.

The Dunn's had a wallpaper business in Newcastle Upon Tyne until c1891.

Do you have any more information, my gt gt was born in wark in 1828 in 1891 he would have been 62, the family manufactured and sold wallpaper.
