Please see if you can find the drysalter in 1851 and 1861. I'd expect him still to be in RD Huddersfield.

Now to decide if he is mine or not. Most of mine are in the woollen business. One related did marry a Crosland and that could explain the middle name. I don't know Thomas Pearson. The parents of my Hannah Crosland are Joshua & Mary. More digging required.

I've been trying to sort out the couples in that 1841 marriage and have made no progress. This one does not help because it must be the next generation. I can't see any children born after 1841 with father Thomas Pearson.

Thomas Pearson Crosland was married more than once. The first in 1841, Ann Kilner is one of the brides listed, the 2nd to Matilda Roch Cousins, the 3rd to Julia -----, this one I cant find the marriage.
