I'd like a look up please for James in 1871 somewhere in Glasgow.

Thank you for looking.

So frustrating. I purchased some credits on SP and downloaded 5 death certificates and found I had the WRONG parents for someone in my tree. The home address on the certificate matches the address on the census so I'm sure I have the right death.

Two sisters married two brothers and now I can't find the birth of either of the sisters given their 'new' parents. The name is COCHRAN(E) and one sister married a William KERR.

I searched for possible marriages to a HUTCHINSON but found nothing that looked likely.

It's possible James moved between the 1871 census and the death of his aunt on 11 Sep 1873.

I'm hoping we find a matching address in the census. The problem is I can't read the address on the death certificate.

Hi Dave,

While looking on the 1881 census, came across this family head of household is John Hutcheon. One of the childrens middle names sounded familiar with the ones your are looking for.

Maria Dalzeil Cochrane Hutcheon, also wife Hannah and son James have the middle name McGillvray.

I do not know how Elizabeth MALCOLM is connected. It seems her father could be a different Alexander and not the one in my tree. I thought it possible my Alexander remarried but he is listed without a 2nd spouse.

Helen could be a brother of William KERR but I have no birth or death for William and no idea who his parents were. William was born abt 1813 Rutherglen, Lanark. Helen would be about 15 years older. If Edinburgh, Midlothian is correct then the two may not be siblings.

I'd like James traced 1861 onwards please.
