You may not be able to find any of them in 1841 if they were in Paddington but you might if they were in Kensington or some other part of London.

Camberwell is in Surrey.

Eliza married in 1847. Eliza and daughter went to Australia when spouse Samuel died.

Seems James didn't die in 1847 and that he married 3 times. Very curious, lots of children born from the other two marriages BEFORE his first spouse died:

It seems the Bishop's Transcripts for Hammersmith 1819 marriage have the names as James ACKLAND and Sarah Stoddard MULLINS.

Every other thing I have says her mane was Elizabeth.

OK, thanks for looking.

Well, I guess when you feel like it you can look at the LEWTON / LEAR marriage puzzle in the "An 'odd' ANGEL in Victoria" topic on the Australian board. The mystery aunt turned out to be Mary PEACOCK. !!! Sister of Elizabeth who married brother George LEWTON - hence an aunt of George's daughter. I received the death certificate of that daughter today.
