Re: Peter & Jean BLACK

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. Sorry. I was hoping they both didn't die that young. If nothing seems to be there then I guess they both died.

This is one of about 5 census queries I currently have that are either finished because nothing can be found or still incomplete.

The only other thing I can add Jean nee RUNCIMAN in case of family with them.

Regards,

Dave

Re: Peter & Jean BLACK

Hi Dave

I searched with no surname and nothing stands out, also variants.
There are two couples named Jane & Peter BLACK in 1851 but they can be accounted for in 1841.

cheers

Re: Peter & Jean BLACK

Hello Josie,

Thank you very much.

I'll search for a death for Peter now I have a range.

Jean/Jane was born at Dirleton.

Please see if you can find Jane in 1871.

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I found the 1861 transcript on FreeCen. Just had a look for them in 1871, but I can't find any of them, probably because they haven't yet been transcribed! Maybe they would appear on Scotland's People, but you would need to purchase some credits to view them!

Best wishes,

Josie

Re: Peter & Jean BLACK

Hello Josie,

Thanks.

I'm out of credits but I believe I've found both deaths.

Peter 1859 North Berwick

Jane 1861 Haddington

Dave
