lawrence/laurence

im on the trail of the following and need some new eyes;
lawrence/laurence leary ;all the definate info i have is that he married as follows;mary lyons in 1929 in west derby on the marriage record he is listed as laurence j leary. been doing some searches but the name lawrence is spelt diffrently on most records . so far i have found a laurence leary b. 1906 west derby and lawrence leary dies 1949, but no initial j in either, just cannot find anything on this man at all , from family members have been told he did die very young but tother than that he is proving quite elusive. any ideas , thanks suex

Re: lawrence/laurence

It's not unusual for the initial letters to be dropped, I've had loads of those.

Maybe bite the bullet and order a cert or two.
