Army Militia

Gortonboy found me an army record of Jacob Aaron Moore.

My question.
If he 'enlisted' in 1838, would he still show up on census as a labourer in 1841 census, as it shows that was his 'trade' according to the army records.

Could he possibly have been a part time soldier, at the time of census.

Steve.
