somerstown FHUK Senior Member Country: Join Date: May 2010 Location: Orpington Posts: 584 Thanks: 36 Thanked 96 Times in 41 Posts	Which month was 1881 census taken? I have three entries in the 1881 census that are possibles for an ancestor. One of them got married on 17th August 1881, which I suspect is after the census was taken, but it would be a help to know which month it was taken in please as one of the possibles is shown as married (his wife is not listed in that household) and if the census were before the marriage date given I can rule him out.
