Waterworth deaths

I'm trying to find out when my great grandfather and great grandmother died. William Frederick Waterworth (b.1836) was married to Caroline Allen (b. 1840). Both were born in London/Middlesex as were their parents.

I did find an entry April-June 1914 for William F Waterworth .. but in Rochford. Reference Vol 4a Page 643. Age is about right but I'm doubtful about the location as he was last known in 1911 census in Southend on Sea. No other deaths for William F Waterworth in indexes that I could see between 1911 and 1921. I'm doubtful about Rochford because the whole family has been London based.

Likewise - there is a Caroline Waterworth death in Cannock (Jan-Mar 1920 - Ref. 6b 540) but no previous links with that area, although again, age would be about right.

I would have thought the death you have found for William was about right.
Rochford is only about a mile away from Southend on Sea, just the other side of the airport

EDIT If I have the right William 1838 London City, in 1901 he and Carolina 1840 London City, were with sons Henry 1869 Holloway and Allen 1870 Marylebone, living at York Buildings Hastings.

As you say he is last known as William F 1838 Spittalfields, living as a Widower in Southend on sea. The reg district is Rochford..
If this is correct, Carolina could have died between 1901 and 1911

I shouldn't be researching late at night! For some reason I've had it fixed in my head that Rochford was up north (confusing it with Rochdale no doubt!) duh! I normally search to find out where a place is, but I just was so fixed in my head about Rochford that I didn't even try.
