I have two SANDS families connected by marriage to FURNERs. One was from Torryburn in Fife and the other from Llandough-juxta-Cowbridge in Glamorgan.

Where is son Llewellyn born in 1844? I can't see him on the image of the passenger list either.
Thanks. I'll look at the image if I can find it. Oh, Victoria and alone and unassisted.
He was born in Wales and was with the family in 1851:

1851 Wales Census

John Sands, 50, Head, Farmer of 330 acres, Llandough, Glamorgan, Wales

Jane Sands, 9, Dau, Scholar at home, Llandough, Glamorgan, Wales
Llewelyn Sands, 6, Son, Scholar at home, Llandough, Glamorgan, Wales
so nothing unusual with him being away as a border or whatever.
His father John died 1880 in Gunning and his mother Ellen in 1878 in Gunning and buried in Old General Cemetery Goulburn:

I've checked the NLA site. I can't see anything to help me with Frances GRUBB. I noticed Mrs Llewellyn SANDS is mentioned as a teacher. I noticed a disputed will and a very long court battle.
