Maria Hiles birth

Hi,
Can anyone with access to Shropshire Parish Registers, Ludlow in particular, find a birth for a Maria Ann Hiles. I think she would have been born around 1765 to 1775.
She had an illegitimate son in 1792 called Edward Price after his father, a shoe maker. I have found a refernce to a bastardy examination which mentions Maria Ann Hiles and Edward Price, the alleged father, in the Shropshire Archives.
I cannot find a birth for Maria Ann, the closest I can get is a Mary Hill born 1769 but I can't be sure that they are one and the same person. Can anyone help?

Many thanks for the info Dave. However after all your effort I have now decided that Edward Price son of Mary Hiles is not the chap I'm after. I was checking out info given on several Ancestry public tree matches. I have gone back to my files and checked the Census entries for Edward Price and the ages given in 1851 and 1861 show that he was born around 1806/7. I have found an entry on the IGI for an Edward Price born Ludlow 1806 to John and Mary Price and I think that this is more likely to be my man.
