Harry Patch.
Hi all, recieved an audio book for 'The Last Fighting Tommy'. His whole life story.
Listened to it today, and all I can say is buy it. Whether audio or paperback.
The audio book was done really well, over 3 hours of listening pleasure.(Just like listening to the radio).
His last words in a very short interview were at the end ........"old soldiers just fade and die".
Well, never in my mind anyway. Thanks Harry.
Absolutely brilliant.
Steve.

Shocking image Lee, just shows what war does on the outside. Never mind the inside. Only 20 yrs old there.
Steve.
