SEAX Essex Records Online Catalogue and some images.
Hi
Try this site for any Essex researchers. I have just discovered an ancestor born in Stebbing according to the census and I found her likely baptism in the online images of their site.

I am trawling through the records for St. Margaret's, Barking and I'm finding loads of Jiggens to work out.
Great stuff, thanks very much. I've found William Jiggens(Malster). Still looking.

Thanks a million Ben, for pointing me to this site.
I have found my Thomas Jiggens, baptised 6 march 1828, son of William(occ.Maltster) and Suzzane(Susan) Jiggens. Plus his brother William and sister Eliza.
It also looks like there are potential Uncles in the same area.
Thanks again Ben.
And also Julie, for decyphering the Giggens/Gissing/Jiggens etc.etc. and chasing them down for me.

Steve.
And found another brother, Edward. No marriages for William 1790, so I assume he came from Felsted, as given in 1861 census. Still looking.
