Re: Ann(e) LUTON/LEWTON

Yes, that's the marriage to Aaron LEWTON who is LEAR because he was born before his parents married just as George was born 1815 before the 1818 marriage.

I was thinking Ann may have remarried after 1826 since she had 4 children born 1815 to 1826.

Re: Ann(e) LUTON/LEWTON

It seems to be a common feature to have one child before marriage, gotta be a conspiracy

That's where it gets complicated, more variant names

Re: Ann(e) LUTON/LEWTON

That's not complicated Geoff. That's only one parent and first child.

One other branch has one child, both parents and one grandparent.

Re: Ann(e) LUTON/LEWTON

There aren't any obvious Ann's with the correct birth (of those that birth's can be achieved) apart from the 1859 death. There aren't any obvious Ann's that are traceable in 1841/51 either.

But may be worth considering (Popular BI):
3 Jun 1843 Ann Lewton 75y, Dursley, St James the Great, bur. [About 20 miles N of Keynsham]
11 Apr 1833 Ann Lewton 78y, Long Ashton, All Saints, bur. [Age maybe 10y out. About 5 miles SE of Bristol]

Re: Ann(e) LUTON/LEWTON

Thanks Geoff.

Wish we could find something more definite about the one who died in 1859. Unlikely to be any marriage and change of name so she should be Ann(e)/Hannah LUTON/LEWTON in 1851 and 1841.

Catch you tomorrow.

Thanks Geoff. Well that's progress of sorts to know it's neither of those in my tree.

I wonder if we can find if she does fit in my tree.
