Re: albert smith

Hi Irene.

You say you found him in 1891,1901 & 1911 census.

He will vanish every 10 years, as that's when the census is taken.

Unsure what you're looking for. Can you please clarify.

Re: albert smith

I have found an Alfred Smith born 1884 in Ebberston working at The Abbey, Ebberston as a Farm Labourer for a Joseph Heath. It is possible that the name was wrongly given by the householder. The ref is RG13/4556/F30/p12

Emelti thanks for that ,it is him and he's working with his future wife Alice Myers ,that's weird though why put his name as Alfred ?

Re: albert smith

Maybe his boss called him Al and mistakenly guessed the name was Alfred not Albert. It definitely says Alfred on the image.
