Anne Atkins

Anne was born Anne Francis c1783 Middlesex. She married Richard Atkins 27/10/1803 St James Westminster.
They lived in Eton Buckinghamshire, Richard's home town. Their second daughter Mary died in 1805 and Richard died in 1832, but I haven't found a death for Anne.

Many thanks

Amanda

Re: Anne Atkins

A public tree has Anne's death as 1805 [not validated]

If so, it could be related to childbirth, i.e. you say dau. Mary d. 1805

If you have Mary's burial details, Anne may also be there.

Richard's burial is in the NBI, but only includes Eton burials from 1813-51

Re: Anne Atkins

Have you asked BucksFHS for a burial search for Ann, Anne, Annie. If not, it may be worth spending 1 for it. Bear in mind, that will be for the whole of Bucks.

Re: Anne Atkins

Mary's death record is actually attached to her christening record, that's how I have it. If the Eton records are available, I'm surprised I can't find Anne's death.

I don't know how these people know Anne died in 1805 because somone has her marrying again in 1807 living in Portsmouth and in the 1851 census

That's a lot of deaths Steve, still I suppose it could come in handy

Re: Anne Atkins

Yes, there will be a lot, but you could work out locality from Eton and surrounds. Plus, the record may say.......'wife of Richard'.......or, 'of the Parish of Eton'.

These sort of details are nearly always missing from FS etc. Actual Parish transcripts usually hold that sort of detail, if it exists.

Nothing guaranteed, but for 1 it's worth ago.

Re: Anne Atkins

Re: Anne Atkins

Nah, that'll be another 1.

You could ask at the same time for baptisms with Richard Atkins as a name.

But that won't include marriages....that's another 1.

Well, there you go....3 you get the lot for 100 year period for all of Bucks, now that will be a lot.

Personally I would check out any snippet, if just to eliminate it
