Anne Whalley

Hi there, I have an Anne Whalley born around 1845. Census records after she was married say she was born in Bristol, UK but in another one she says 'Bridel, Somerset'. I haven't been able to find her in the birth indexes, so am hoping to find her marriage record to find out more about her, at the very least her father's name. She married Owen Curran (sometimes 'Cunnan'), possibly in Liverpool, as their first child was born there in 1865 (Frances Curran). Actually all children were born there. I am not sure when she died. Owen was born about 1837 in Bootle, Lancashire.

Thanks so much if you can help!

Re: Anne Whalley

She really doesn't want to be found, does she? I have tried everything and every site I can think of but no birth and no marriage. I can find her in the Censuses after she "marries" Owen Curran upto and including 1891 then nothing. There is a possible death
Ann Curran Jun 1925 W Derby 8b 609 age 77 (yob 1845).

I think I have had a bit more luck with Owen Curran. There is a baptism in Liverpool for an Owen Curran in 1832, parents Edward Curran and Catherine nee Donovan

The family are in the 1841 Census
HO107/520/2/F17/p2
Wood Street Court, Walton on the Hill
Edward Curran 40 Ireland
Catherine Curran 35 Ireland
James 15
Edward 13
Ellen 12
Patrick 10
Michael 7
Owen 6
Catherine 5
John 3
Peter 1

There is also a possible death for Owen
Owen Corrin Jun 1982 Toxteth Park 8b 185 age 60

Best I can do I'm afraid, and I'm not 100% certain I have the correct family
