Spinster, a minor
married in this Church by Banns with consent of ...... ?? P.M. Commissioner
twelfth day of April 1852 By me Thomas Sharpe M.A.
Parties signed: David Crawley, Catherine Byrne
Witnesses: Thomas (his x mark) White of Bathurst, Matilda White of Bathurst, ....? ? of Bathurst

The Commissioner's name looks like J I Moussel and the witnesses name ends ..arney but I can't make out the rest. Could the first letter be W?

Yes it looks like W ... arney

Tried searching for the commissioners name but found nothing so far. The NSW government appointed several people in various parts of the state as commissioners for minors. If the minor had no NOK the commissioner would decide if the marriage could take place.

Deaths in Bathurst for a William and a William J Kearney.

No death in NSW index to 1940 for a mousse? [?= any letter]

Not finding a match that fits in Trove.
