Chartist couple Harrison

Come back to my friendly detectives to see if we can finally sort this mystery out. In 1842 Ann Harrison chair of Female Sheffield Chartists made a speech. Around same time a Harrison teamed up with Richard Otley as delegates from Sheffield to a Chartist meeting in Manchester. I am guessing this delegate was her husband. I know there is a Harrison edge tool maker who spoke in a radical meeting in the 1830s and am guessing this was probably him too. There are 2 candidates for this Mr. Harrison, both called John Harrison. One was an edge tool and electro-plate manufacturer and the other was an edge tool worker in Dronfield or Unstone. So anyone find a direct link between a John Harrison and an Ann Harrison who was like her a Chartist?

Re: Chartist couple Harrison

Did the Papers mention her age?

Edit-no, and she is addressed as Ann Harrison, so don't think she was married.

Re: Chartist couple Harrison

There are several Ann Harrisons listed in burials including daughter of Saw manufacturer Thomas Harrison who lived in Weston Park House, but although she never married she was too young to be the chair.

Every woman mentioned as Chartists that I have been able to trace were married women whose husbands were also very active. They aren't described as Mrs. either.
