Re: Children of Francis FURNER & Mary
Thanks Geoff.
Thomas is a problem as it's a common name. One family had two sons named Thomas so one must have died 0-4 years.
Might be difficult to work out which Thomas is which.
That does not fit for Ann who married Francis (d. 1819) so may have remarried. Not with her married daughter in 1841.
Judith married Stephen and he remarried as a tree has a burial at Brede in 1897 for Judith ??
Deaths Jun 1839 FURNER Stephen Rye 7 309
Be back later Geoff when the rain returns.
Dave

Judith should have been in, St George has a coverage of 1559-1899, no obvious gaps suggested [
only 29% checked
] so 71% could be at risk of variation..

Took another look at Thomas, I didn't check the variant 'Turner' - there is this..
24 Jul 1805
Thomas TURNER
[No age given]
Brede, St George
19 Nov 1809
Thomas TURNER
[No age given]
Brede, St George

Re: Children of Francis FURNER & Mary
Thanks Geoff.
Some of the baptisms are Turner.
That's a problem with Susannah as I only have one.
I'm trying to get the Turner changed to Furner in the NSW BDM index.

Re: Children of Francis FURNER & Mary
William Furner & Susannah Sargent but now the marriage is either
3 Feb 1799 Ticehurst, Sussex
or Dec 1798 Brede, Sussex
or both.
Susannah born 1769 Ticehurst so 1839 burial.

Re: Children of Francis FURNER & Mary
1831 burial for William fits the William b. 1768 who married Susannah.
Not RD Rye.
Deaths Sep 1839 TURNER Susanna [70] Battle 7 150
