Re: Maud Matilda and John Connelly

What 2600 to get this certificate for less than 10 ?

Maud Matilda Farmer
Registration Year:1875
Registration Quarter: Apr-May-Jun
Registration district: Bristol
Volume: 6a
Page:27

Perhaps it would be printed on vellum and embellished with gold leaf!

Re: Maud Matilda and John Connelly

Thanks Steve, yes I knew about all about her up to the marriage but she seemed to Vanish, but the birth in Bristol confirms that she did remarry in 1924.

Thanks everyone

Telling a few proky pies in the 1901 and 1911 census about being married for 15 years when they married in 1924

Re: Maud Matilda and John Connelly

No wonder we couldn't find a Maud Connolly in 1901 and 1911.

Re: Maud Matilda and John Connelly

With regards to Mary Molineux/Hegney, I see that on a couple of the Censuses she gives her pob as Ormskirk. There was a Mary Molineux baptised Ormskirk 3/3/1833 daughter of Thomas, a labourer and Margaret. Abode Burscough. I found this on FreeReg. I presume you have her marriage in Liverpool in 1854, if not it is on familysearch under the names Higney and Molineuse.

Re: Maud Matilda and John Connelly

Yes I have their marriage certificate, but she says her father was John a carter, but I've never found a baptism with that information, have never found her in either the 1841 or 1851 census so assuming she didn't live with parents. I'm not totally sure she was born Ormskirk, possibility it could have been Liverpool.

I've come to the conclusion her mother could have been unmarried and her grandfather was John, I may be able to work something out there.

One of the witnesses was a William Molyneux, I suppose he could have been a brother or an uncle
