Re: Census request for Arthur Richardson

Something to ponder and is pure speculation at this point...

When searching on Anc. some of the suggestions were being returned with the name 'Young'

I looked at some of the public trees and there is one that suggests this..

1901:
Town: Campton
County: Bedfordshire
RD: Biggleswade
ED: 9; Piece: 1498; Folio: 62; Page: 13

Charles Young 41 [b. London City. Occ=something bootm' own account at home]
Mary Young 38 [b. Clophill]
James Young 8 [b. Clophill]
Arthur Young 7 [do]
Bertie Chas Young 3/12 [b. Campton]

There is a concern that there is no Sarah Jane [if she is Arthur's sibling], checking the image James is actually listed as a dau. and the age is in the female column, it also looks more like 'Jane'. If that is her, she may have been known as Jane.

Marriages:
Q2 1899
Evans Clara
Richardson Mary
Stunson John
Young Charles
Ampthill
3b, 898

Thumbs up Re: Census request for Arthur Richardson

Sparrow
I am related to the Richardson's of Clophill Maulden Bedfordshire.. my Grandfather Reginald Charles Richardson was born in Bedford 1896-1929 he was in the 5th Battalion Bedfordshire Rifles.. survived. Was on the Homefront due to a heart condition then died in 1929. His brother Alfred Richardson died in 1915 at Ypres.
Thomas Richardson 1600's
Furthest they go back is Maulden Uryan Richardson born 1550 in church records.
Clophill & Maulden are villages connected by about a mile.. there are Family's who are all related Whitmore, Sharpe, Chapman, Odell, Summerfield..all intermarried.
I have been to both villages..
if you want to know more I may be able to help you!

The Picture is Regina My Mother, Reginald's Son.
