Exactly so.

Re the 1835 marriage, I saved an image to USB this afternoon at the library.

Birth DUNN JOHN 1274/1866 JOHN MARGARET SYDNEY * 11 June That's not 5 March

Either not the right reg or some strange reg with Sydney and different date??

Death DUNN JOHN 390/1866 AGE 18 YEARS DIED SYDNEY SYDNEY * 19 March

Born 14 Dec 1846 according to one article in Trove.

Re: John COLEMAN

I've just read a private email from a direct descendant of Margaret Monks.

Re John - there is no birth reg and suspected father is John Dunn.

So that Sydney one is another person.

We done the convicts in another topic.

Thomas MONKS alias DEEGAN and Ellen DEASY alias MURPHY.

Re: John COLEMAN

"John COLEMAN (1866-1943)
18 Jul 1943 at the residence of his daughter Mrs E Smith, 67 Park Street, Campsie."

The electoral rolls I found today had the address 87 Park Street. ?? Lang - Campsie

So don't know if they moved or which one is in error.

Perhaps they kept moving.

1935 NSW Electoral Roll - East Sydney - Surry Hills
SMITH James William Henry, 61 Phelps street, labourer
SMITH Ethel May, 61 Phelps street, home duties

Without looking too hard, the John Coleman at 87 Park Street Campsie - Lang is the only with that address, in 1937 are 2x John with a middle name at Claremont Street.. Can't see John Coleman before 1943, unless I've missed it
