Re: ADAM family

Thanks Geoff.

If that is John, then when did son Robert arrive?

Isabella may have died in Scotland.

Re: ADAM family

Thanks Geoff.

Finding the death for the right John in Victoria is proving difficult.

Mrs. Mary Adam, relict of the late Mr. John Adam, of Oxley, died at her residence, Green-street, Wangaratta, on Thursday morning, ...
...
Mr. Adam died five years ago, and eighteen months later Mrs. Adam and her daughter went to live in Wangaratta. ...

She leaves a family of three daughters, the only son being drowned at Oxley in 1875. ...

The daughters are Mrs. J. J. Kennedy, of Oxley; Mrs. J. T. Ballard, of Chelsea ; and Miss Jean Adam, of Wangaratta. ...

How does that fit?
