Re: Davies - A Mission Impossible?

Steve, very, very many thanks, just done it all and have even made notes for future reference.

Two 'Davies's' marrying may not have been unusual in 1874, but it doesn't help family research in the 21st century.

Brian

Re: Davies - A Mission Impossible?

Just hope their fathers name aren't the same.

One called Mycroft Davies, and the other called Bertram Davies would be ideal.

Steve.

Re: Davies - A Mission Impossible?

Got the certificate and both fathers names are Thomas and David, and I'm happy that they are my ancestors William was living in Blaenllechau at the time of the wedding. That's the good news, the bad news is I've only dented the brick wall. Onwards and upwards, now to see if I can find these people on census returns.

Chipping away is a start Brian. From small cracks grow massive holes.
