Re: Eleanor Maisie BALL

... the bride was attended by Mrs K Mowatt ...

12843/1939 MOWATT CECIL GEORGE - BALL KATHLEEN MARGARET SYDNEY

Sister of the groom ?? So was Maisie an only child?

Not in the index to rolls after 1963 as Eleanor Maisie Ball.

No remarriage in NSW to 10 Aug 1967.

Eleanor Maisie/Maisie Eleanor after 1963 are also in the rolls for 1963 so ruled out. So no sign of her in NSW after 1963 with any surname that I can see.

Re: Eleanor Maisie BALL

Im not finding anything on Maisie. No mention of the Webb family in George's death and funeral notices. No mention of kids belonging to George and Maisie in the notices neither.

Re: Eleanor Maisie BALL

Thanks gibbo.

Chatswood reg district covers a large area so we may have no luck finding the right Webb family in 1943 roll for North Sydney. Could be Sub-division Artarmon or Chatswood or Chatswood West or Naremburn or Northbridge or Roseville.

Re: Eleanor Maisie BALL

There is this, but i cant get any further info to see what year of birth etc.

Australia, Birth Index, 1788-1922
NAME: Eleanor M Webb
BIRTH: year - location
CIVIL: year - city, New South Wales, Australia

This is George's military index

BALL GEORGE EDWARD : Service Number - NX145246 : Date of birth - 01 May 1917 : Place of birth ABERDARE NSW : Place of enlistment - WILLOUGHBY NSW : Next of Kin - MOWATT C

If he was born 1917 i assume she would have been born a bit after that, hence not in the online indexes but it seems ancestry goes up to 1922.

Can't see a birth notice 1920 - 1922.
