Re: Ann PEACOCK nee BATEMAN

I can find Ruth's marriage to James Smith but no birth showing up.
I have also found the following burials at Kingswood Whitfields Tabernacle

Ann Bateman 5 Sep 1852 age 75
Joseph Bateman 13 May 1857 age 83

They don't fit with the 1851 Census though, so have you got the right Ann Bateman?

Re: Ann PEACOCK nee BATEMAN

Thanks Emeltee.

They look like the burials to fit so I have the wrong Ann in 1851.

I can't find a death reg for Ann 1852.

Re: Ann PEACOCK nee BATEMAN

1841 HO107/361/17/F47
Lanthorn Bottom, Bitton
Joseph Bateman 60 Labourer
Ann Bateman 65

No sign of Joseph in 1851 only the Ann you found

Deaths
Joseph Bateman Jun 1857 Keynsham 5c 473 age 83

Ann Bateman Mar 1853 Keynsham 5c 587 age 75

Either the gro have the date wring as 1853 or both the NBI and Bristol FHS have the burial wrong as 1852

Re: Ann PEACOCK nee BATEMAN

Thanks Emeltee.

No baptism for Ruth so the Ann a widow in 1851 is not the right one.

So can't find either in 1851.

And either the death or the burial is wrong for Ann.

I said there were more puzzles.

Re: Ann PEACOCK nee BATEMAN

Found them in 1851

HO107/1944/F438/p44

Lanthorn Bottom, Bitton, Hamlet of Oldland, Keynsham, SOMERSET

Joseph Bateman 74 Ag Lab Bitton, Glos
Ann Bateman 74 Hawker St Georges, Glos

This has to be the couple buried Kingswood Whitfields Tabernacle, surely.
