This is where the tree/s fall down... No parental details for Charlotte.

Had a quick look in Sands, nothing leaping out for a William L

Afraid so Geoff.

Yes, that is William.

No birth for Stratford and Burton or Caleb d. 1847 (7th son).

Sydney the 4th bv Bass Strait but don't know if Burton or Stratford followed Sydney.


The 1877 death for Elizabeth Hawthorne is not the right one - not old enough.

Yes, I started out with that Charlotte baptised RC Maitland but then found another one baptised Sydney CofE.
