Re: HAACK and FLESSER

I will post this tho. Luke could have ended up out here earlier if he did this a couple of years before Old Baileys Court Feb 1848.

Thanks. Probably good move.

You are lost with the names. They usually have three middle names and not only swap them around as they get older but anglicise them as well.

My great great grandfather - Johan Georg Heinrich = George Henry

Re: HAACK and FLESSER

HAACK & FLESSER had 13 children and I have connections to three:

Birth1869/B09995 Haack Annie Maria - George August - Wilhelmine Justine Frederika Flesser

Annie married and died in WA so I have her burial record.

Birth 1887/C08810 Haack Ida Auguste - Jurgen August - Wilhelmine Friedericke Justine Flesser

Ida married in 1908 and possibly died in 1976 in Ipswich. Married name SEILER became SAILER.

Birth 1895/C10044 Haack Wilhelmine - Jurgen August - Wilhelmine Fredericke Justine Flesser d. aft 1968 - last entry in E/R index

Re: HAACK and FLESSER

Interesting re Haack about Denmark yet his parents don't seem Danish.

I was given his origin as Kiel, HST, Preussen (Prussia).

and Flesser's origin as , Schneidlberg, Preussen

I'm checking origins and arrival info for the two in the topic title.

Re: HAACK and FLESSER

Top of page in post #1 the 1867 marriage - bit hard to arrive in 1872.

That means we don't know when either of them arrived.

I hate the way FS have now set up IGI. I can't find the stuff I used to find or even the stuff that comes up as hits if you google names and then enter IGI.

I'm about to give up. I can't confirm if it is Schmideberg or Schneidlberg.

I can't confirm Haack came from Denmark or Prussia.
