Re: Wally moments.

Another wally moment.

This one happened about 20 years ago.

I went to the hole in the wall late at night, to get some cash out for a night out.
I put the card in and entered my password......NOT RECOGNISED was the reply on screen.
Entered password again, very carefully......same message.
Entered it again......card got swallowed, and I was told to contact the branch manager for retrieval.

So I went home and scratched up some cash from various settees, pots, bedside cabinets and went back out again.

Monday came, and into the Bank I stomped. 'I want to see the manager'...I said in a miffed attitude.
I explained what had happened, and off he went to look into it. He came back a few minutes later, and before he opened his mouth I opened mine with some not too polite comments on his banking system.

After I'd finished, he politely informed me, that the card he had in his hand with my name on it, was from another bank.
So I politely and humbly apologised, and tucked my tail and tongue in, and crept out of his bank, lower than a snakes belly.

Steve.

Steve.
That's very low, lower than a snakes belly, would have love to have been there to see it.
