help finding birth & death

Hello,

can someone please help me trace any record of my great grandfather who was called James Thomas Luke Saunders and he was born in 1878 in Bristol. I know that he married a lady from Birmingham called Sarah Ann Shute (on some of their childrens birth certificates she has put her name as Sarah Melissa Shute which is a little strange)

I have managed to get their marriage certificate which gives me their ages at wed as well as their fathers names but I want to get some specifics if possible.

Can anyone help please?

Can you give James fathers name and occupation. The 1901 census gives his place of birth Bristol. There is a James Sanders in 1881 born abt 1879 Bristol fathers name FK (could be Frank) mother Elizabeth.

The James in 1881 dosnt look like him. 1891 has his middle initial of H. Father name is Frederick.

you do not give fathers name, which would help as we a re working blind. was he deceased at time of marriage

I wonder if this is him. Age is a bit out, which may explain why he cannot be found in 1878. Did he lie about his age at marriage for some reason?
