Re: 1913 Electoral Roll - WALKER & WEEKES

Thanks Val.

I had about a quarter of that so now I'm confused.

Charles married JONES but his middle name is Jones.

A divorce ? An inquest ?

2x Charles.

Dave

Death 15387/1908 WEEKES CHARLES J - CHARLES W - SARAH - ST LEONARDS

The Sydney Morning Herald - Mon 16 Nov 1908 p.6
DEATHS
WEEKES.-November 15, 1908, at his residence Collondilly, Hampden-road, Pennant Hills, Charles Jones Weekes, M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., London, aged 46.

That also does not make sense. Hampton road is in Artarmon the suburb next to St Leonards.

Re: 1913 Electoral Roll - WALKER & WEEKES

Charles Joseph fits in somewhere.

Death 1831/1932 WEEKES CHARLES J - WILLIAM MARIA - FORBES

Death 4369/1909 WEEKES CHARLES W(ye) - ELIAS C MARGARET - ANNANDALE

Lots of different families.

Don't know yet if Charles Wye is the C. W. father of Charles Jones.

I'll come back to this tomorrow.

Dave

Re: 1913 Electoral Roll - WALKER & WEEKES

Charles Jones Weekes, M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., London, aged 46. a Doctor ??

off wiki..The conjoint was a basic medical qualification in the United Kingdom administered by the United Examining Board. ... The surgeons then teamed up with the Royal College of Physicians of London who paired their Licentiate diploma (LRCP) with the MRCS to create the English Conjoint Diploma in 1884.

Re: 1913 Electoral Roll - WALKER & WEEKES

this should put things back on right track..

The Gundagai Times Tue 9 Nov 1920 - WEDDING BELLS. - GANDEN— WEEKES.

A quiet wedding was celebrated by Rev. P. Micklem at St. James Church, on Wednesday, when Miss Eileen Breathour Weekes, youngest daughter of the late Dr. Charles Weekes (brother of Mr. E. E. Weekes) and Mrs. L. J. Weekes, of Vaucluse. and grand daughter of the late Hon. Elias Weekes, was married to Mr. Sydney J. Ganden, son of the late Mr. Ganden and Mrs.Ganden, of Macquarle 'Street. The bride, who was given away by Mr. T. E. R. Yorke, wore a tailored suit, of dove-grey cloth, and a small hat wreathed with flowers. Miss Valerie Weekes was in attendance, and Mr. G. Ingleman was best man; Only members of the family and intimate friends were present, and afterwards a reception was held at the Queen's Club by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Morgan Jones. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. aud Mrs. Ganden left on their honeymoon. '
