Re: One WRIGHT family

Thanks gibbo.

I didn't have those because I failed to check ACI.

Just checking there is no serious problem with my tree and that 'James' has to be an error.

Re: One WRIGHT family

The Sydney Morning Herald - Sat 19 Aug 1933 p.14
CASUALTIES.
MAN STRUCK BY TRAIN.
A middle-aged man was struck by a train in the railway tunnel about 300 yards from the Town Hall railway station, late last night Police carried him to the platform, and he was rushed to Sydney Hospital where he was admitted in a critical condition. Both his legs were broken, and his skull was fractured. Clarence-street police are investigating how he came to be in the tunnel, and are trying to identify him.
Sergeant Fisher found a paper with the address of 113 Horatio-street, Mudgee, and a receipt for 290, with the name of Roy Wright, in the injured man's clothes.
It is believed that he fell from a train in the tunnel.

Re: One WRIGHT family

The whole district will unite in extending sympathy to the sorrowing son and daughters, viz: James, Mrs. A. Bennett, Mrs. E. J. Parsons, Mrs. Bailey Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. Chapman (Buckaroo), and Mrs. McGilvary (Sydney).

Sounds to me like the son was still alive, yet Roy died in 1933, five years earlier.

Could there possibly be another son named James??

Thanks gibbo.

It's only 5 pm here. Not as if I've been up 16 hours already.
