Fact or Fiction Monte Cristo

I am not researching this as part of my family or for anyone else. Its just a interesting story that i have been looking into for my own curiosity.

Monte Cristo .. most haunted house in Australia. This house is situated in a town named Junee in NSW. Junee is the town i was born in and i have been to Monte Cristo several times. [Never had any experiences in the ghostly sense when i was there]

http://www.sydneyspiritstalkers.com/...te-cristo.html

Maid: fell to her death off the blacony, ruled as suicide. But its been known that the maid may have been pregnant with Mr Crawleys child... perhaps she was pushed to cover up the forbidden deed? [I have NOT been able to confirm]

A Woman: Died giving birth in one of the beds in the house.[I have not been able to confirm]

Mr Crawley: Died in the house. An abcess on his neck that rubbed on the starch collar, the starch went into the blood stream and he died from septicemia. [True ]

Baby Ethel: The Crawley's baby was killed when a Nanny "dropped" her down the stairs, the Nanny claims something pushed the child from her arms... but back in those days, Nannys often "hurt" the children so they would get more work... cruel indeed. Was she meerely trying to hurt the child, to keep working longer there? But killed the child instead...[I have not been able to confirm or find any records relating to this]

Morris the Stable Boy: Basically murdered in the stable. He calaimed to be too ill to get up for work, the Boss thought the boy was bluffing so he set fire to the boy's bedding... thinking he would jump up out of bed for work.. turns out the boy WAS too ill to get up and in that he burnt to death. [I have not been able to confirm]

Harold: The mentally retarded son of one of the caretakers was left chained in the dairy for 40 years. His mother would come and give him food. [True, tho if he was actually chained up and in there for 40 years is of question. I know a living person who as a child played at the house one day and heard and saw him, but she doesnt remember seeing chains, she never told anyone of this as they werent supposed to be on the property]

If anyone wants to see if they can confirm any of the above go for it. If you google Monte Cristo, Junee heaps of stuff pops up.

Re: Fact or Fiction Monte Cristo

Jack Simpson: 1961 was murdered at point blank by a local youth. The young youth had watched the movie "Psycho" 3 times earlier that day, he went up to the Mansion, knocked on the door, the caretaker Jack opened the door to then be shot dead by the youth who went to write "Die Jack Die"... on the door of the dairy. Which you can still faintly see to this day.

I cant even find anything on the above fella, no death index that i can see

birth
MORRIS RALPH S C 28302/1889 WILLIAM ROSE A JUNEE

death
MORRIS RALPH 1926/1899 WILLIAM ROSE A JUNEE

Still has to be confirmed.

I cant find a death or funeral notice. The Junee cemetery link wont open for me neither

Would the record on FMP give any further info to the NSW death index? Trying to find cause of death.

Morris Ralph — 1899 1899 New South Wales Deaths 1788-1945 Junee, New South Wales, Australia
