Edward T BONE

Hello,

Deaths Dec 1943
Bone Edward T 69 Lewisham 1d 999

Could someone check please if that is Edward Thomas or Edward Templecombe, both born about 1875 Greenwich. The former son of Edward and the latter son of John.

In FreeBMD I can find no births, marriages or deaths for Templecombe in all of England.

Templecombe is a village in Somerset...

Thanks.

Regards,

Dave

Re: Edward T BONE

Hello Woody,

Thanks for looking.

Seems the cousins were both born in Greenwich about 1875. Only one birth/baptism, that for Edward Thomas and only one marriage 1904, that for Edward Templecombe. And it seems only one death.

Regards,

Dave

Re: Edward T BONE

Hello Woody,

I think it is Croker.

I was hoping the death/probate might mention name of spouse. Minnie Theresa in the case of Edward Templecombe. Possible death (born 12 Aug 1880 St John's Wood):

Deaths Dec 1950
Bone Minnie 69 Wandsworth 5d 688

One thing I've not done yet is complete a thorough search for Edward Thomas after 1881, where he is age 6 with family in Greenwich.

Regards,

Dave

Re: Edward T BONE

Hello Woody,

Thanks for looking. No problem. I still can't sort it out so need others looking.

Engineers clerk agrees with the 1911 occupation for Edward T who fits the 1904 marriage as Edward Templecombe, who lists his father as John a merchant. Cannot find John a merchant but can find John a carpenter with no son Edward.

If that 1901 is correct and he is in fact the son of Mary A then was she married to a John BONE before she married a RICHARDS? Or is Edward just a lodger and 'son' is an error?

Witness at the 1904 marriage is an Austin Collyer BONE who is a cousin or is it brother?

See this topic where I'm now asking if we have one or two Edward Ts:

http://www.forum.familyhistory.uk.co...ad.php?t=20337

See also the search for John.

http://www.forum.familyhistory.uk.co...ad.php?t=20357

Births Sep 1878
RICHARDS Henry St. Saviour 1d 61

I think I have found the marriage and the death of Mary Ann's spouse and can rule out the possibility she was married to John BONE previously.

Regards,

Dave
