Re: 1874 Baptism Sponsors

Thanks Steve.

Looks like McCogg... but no such name in NSW BDM.

Ok it's possibly not Broderick (there is one at top left) but I don't see it as Hamilton. I still think it ends in ick.

Dave

Mummell is near Goulburn

Marriage 1683/1860 McCONNELL GEORGE - HENDRICK KATE - GOULBURN

One solved.

Re: 1874 Baptism Sponsors

I've edited the post.

Can't see another Kate/Catherine so did she give her maiden name? I can't tell from the reg # if that 1860 marriage was at the same church.

Something is not right. It is the same church.

Re: 1874 Baptism Sponsors

So far I can't find a death for Kate.

Why would she give her maiden name 5 years after her marriage as a baptism sponsor in 1865?

I can't find a death for George junior. George senior died 1860.

Death 4679/1881 HENDRICK JEREMIAH D - - MARY - GOULBURN

It's not Goulburn but there is this marriage before the 1865 baptism

2734/1864 HENDRICK PHILLIP - RYAN CATHERINE - ORANGE

Is Phillip a brother to Jeremiah?
