Lancelot Rennison Northumberland

I have a Lancelot Rennison having children in Longframlington between 1703 and 1716 but I am unable to find a marriage for him. I think he may have been born in Rothbury in 1669 and I also think, unless there are missing baptisms, that he may have been married twice as his children were baptised 1703, 1707, 1714 and 1716.

Can anyone help?

Emeltee

Re: Lancelot Rennison Northumberland

Can't find a Lancelot, Emeltee.

I can see Rennison, Renisson and Rennisson.

Re: Lancelot Rennison Northumberland

Oh well, thanks for looking Dave. I did wonder if there was anything on Anc which I can't access.

Re: Lancelot Rennison Northumberland

Hi MLT.

No subs for Anc. But there is an 'outline' for a Lance Rennington. It is more than likely his baptism, as per FamilySearch.

Nothing else popping up, sorry.

Steve.

Re: Lancelot Rennison Northumberland

Thanks anyway, Steve. I think I'll have to give up as a lost cause.

I've discovered that ancestors are like buses - you search for one for ages then two turn up in the same pace born a couple of years apart. I was looking for a George Rennison born c1740 in Durham but couldn't find anything so decided to look at neighbouring counties and found two born Hebron (Hebburn) Northumberland, one in 1739 and one in 1743. Turns out, after much research that they were cousins!
