At first I thought the death at 74 was too old to be the father of Florence who married in 1895. But 5th daughter and don't know how many sons so Florence may have been the last.

Yes, that is from the Civil Registration record with Vol & page.


We were supposed to get 4 days of heavy rain starting last night. All we got was a few drops last evening and nothing today at all. Have I created a micro-climate with my 70 new plantings? Three more went in today, an azalea, a coprosma and a melaleuca.

We got 6ml nearly a week ago Cant complain tho its the first bit of rain for months.
