Re: Cadder, Scotland

Surely if Elizabeth Anderson is going to be anyone's mother she will be Margaret's as John's surname is Wark, not Anderson.

Re: Cadder, Scotland

Yes, Emeltee, I don't know where I am with this one.

Kincardine does not seem to fit. Age 84 in 1869 is probably near the mark.

I'm glad it's not on a main line of my tree.

Dave

Are you referring to the 1851 Census

Re: Cadder, Scotland

Thanks Ellie.

No, this one but I should have said Margaret's mother.

Quote:
1861
Registration District: Dunoon and Kilmun
Civil Parish: Dunoon
County: Argyll
Roll: CSSCT1861_70
ED: 6A
Address: 43 Sea Shore
ANDERSON Elizabeth Head Widow 70 Housekeeper Kincardineshire
WARK John A Head 44 Sewed Muslin Merct Glasgow Lanarkshire
WARK Margaret Wife 37 Glasgow Lanarkshire
...
Two households, age and pob would suggest not Margaret's mother. But 1869 death in that RD is the right one.
