Thomas & Mary FURNER

Hello,

Mary COLEMAN b. abt 1763 Sussex d. Dec Q 1844 RD Battle

married Thomas FURNER and he died in 1826 in Brede.

Mary is not with her married daughter Sarah nor with her married son Thomas in 1841 so can she be found possibly in Ore? Thanks.

Hi Dave,

This maybe Mary transcribed as Turner. She is with a young couple called Richardson.

CP Brede
RD Rye
Sub RD Beckley
Cockle Street

Mary Turner age 75 born in county

Class H0107
Piece 1106
Book 7
Folio 7
Page 7

There is this Mary furner age 70 independant born in county in the CP of Frant, with a family called Bridgen

Class H0107
Piece 1117
Book 8
Folio 11
Page 14

Thanks for looking.

I have several Mary FURNERs in my tree. Yes, TURNER is common error in registrations even for the family in Australia.

Let me check my database and get back to you.

By any chance is it a Mercy RICHARDSON?

Mary's eldest daughter Mercy possibly married:

Thomas RICHARDSON & Mercy FURNER
30 Jun 1802 Brede, Sussex, England

The couple are James and Mary Richardson both aged 20 with two children, Mary age 2 and James age 9mths.
