John O'DONOHOE

Marriage 1219/1871 O'DONAHO JOHN F - CHERRY WINIFRED E - BALMAIN * 20 Feb 1871

Death 2784/1893 O'DONOHOE WINIFRED E - JOHN - ANN - BALMAIN * 19 Aug 1893

Children
2927/1872 O'DONOHOE FLORENCE M JOHN WINIFRED E BALMAIN
2012/1873 O'DONOHOE JOHN JOSEPH JOHN T WINIFRED SYDNEY

Don't know John's middle name so don't know which initial is correct.

Looking for John's death and any other info on him.

I can't find a death in NSW for John junior.

I also can't find a marriage or death in NSW for daughter Florence.

Thanks,

Dave

Re: John O'DONOHOE

He doesn't appear to be around in 1903, but possibly son, John Joseph in Cobar, schoolmaster.

Have you got an occ for John Sr.?

Re: John O'DONOHOE

This is a bit of a puzzle.

The Sydney Morning Herald - Mon 21 Aug 1893 p.1
Deaths.
O'DONOHOE.-August 19, at the residence of her brother-in-law, Darling-street, East Balmain, Mrs. Winifred E. O'Donohoe. Requiescat in pace.

Three sisters and Jane didn't marry leaving two. Has to be this sister but we have also found no deaths for either John or Margaret Mackenzie.

Marriage 6024/1882 MACKENZIE JOHN A - CHERRY MAGGIE AGNES MARY - ARMIDALE * 14 Jul 1882

---------
Children
3785/1883 MACKENZIE MARY G JOHN A MAGGIE M BALMAIN
29/1884 MACKENZIE VIOLET M JOHN A MARGARET M SYDNEY
4789/1886 MACKENZIE ALICK F JOHN A MAGGIE M A BALMAIN
5396/1890 MACKENZIE MARY M V JOHN A MARGARET BALMAIN

No occ. Geoff.

THE FRIENDS of Mrs. JNO. MACKENZIE and Miss JANE CHERRY are kindly invited to attend the Funeral of their late beloved SISTER, Mrs. Winifred O'Donohoe ...

So Maggie was around in 1893. Parents are John & Priscilla.

That address of B-i-L may suggest John had died before then, or they had split up

Re: John O'DONOHOE

Age more than 10 years out

MACKENZIE MARGARET A 404/1928 JOHN 68 YRS DRUMMOYNE DRUMMOYNE

Can't find anything in Trove yet for the two deaths in Maitland area.

No death in NSW index for a Maggie or Margaret with any surname and parents John & Priscilla.
