Re: Jane Crichton CAMPBELL

Jane was probably born in Kilmarnock, Ayr 1829 - 1830.

Found a tree which has no details for Jane's parents.

A huge number of possible arrivals assisted and unassisted to Victoria before 1854 for a Jane Campbell.

Re: Jane Crichton CAMPBELL

Looks like there is no birth/baptism for Jane and no tree with any details for her parents - marriage or deaths or even names.

Yeah, not much to find for Jane

There is this..

Elliott Lestrange Barton
Birth Place: South Yarra, Victoria
Registration Year: 1856
Registration Place: Victoria, Australia
Parents = George Elliot Barton & Jane Crichton Campbell
Registration Number: 7316

A lone tree has a marriage for GEB to an Ann Lestrange c1850, not validated.

Re: Jane Crichton CAMPBELL

Thanks Geoff.

I can't see how such a marriage would fit.

So far I can't find John in 1861.

One a gardener and one an unmarried broker.
