Re: Wally moments.

Oh well, some things don't change.

Had a wally this morning, changed the gas bottle for the gas cooker, cursed and swore when it didn't work.
The gas bottle I changed was an empty one.

Someone had put the 'new bottle' safety cap on an empty one.

Anyway.......put a new one on, and got my brecky done.

Good job I had a spare.

Re: Wally moments.

Update on my gas bottle Wally.

The bottle that I changed, ran out while cooking my dinner.

So, I changed it again to a FULL bottle this time.

I did wonder why my Pizza was taking so long to cook, but at least I didn't burn it.

Lifes a gas.

Re: Wally moments.

I hope it's a sterile environment.

I started gardening this morning and decided to do some pruning. Just 10 minutes into the job I pruned the tip off the 2nd finger on my left hand. So, off to the medical centre to get it cleaned and dressed. I hope it rains for the next 5 days, but of course it won't. I'll be looking out the window thinking I should be doing something in the garden. A bit hard with one hand.

Re: Wally moments.

No.

It's only the tip of one finger but it's like having no use of one hand.
