John Taylor

I'm going to try this one more time. I'm still looking for John b c1804 Newent Gloucestershire. I have confirmed now that the one born in Tibberton parents Samuel and Susannah are not his parents.

This was his marriage:

Name John Taylor
Record Type Marriage
Marriage Date 1 Mar 1829
Marriage Place St Mary the Virgin, Twickenham Richmond upon Thames,
Spouse Ann Finch

1851 census:

Name John Taylor
Age 45
Estimated Birth Year abt 1806
Relation Head
Gender Male
Where born newer, Gloucestershire, England
Civil parish Twickenham
County/Island Middlesex
Registration district Brentford
Sub-registration district Isleworth
John Taylor 45
Ann Taylor 41
Frederic Taylor
Ruth Taylor
Joseph Taylor 7
Margaret Taylor 4

And burial:

Name John Taylor
Age 70
Record Type Burial
Birth Date abt 1801
Burial Date 6 Feb 1871
Burial Place Saint Mary the Virgin, Twickenham Richmond Upon Thames,

Haven't found John in the 1861 census. Ann is lodging with a family called Alexander and says she is married.

Re: John Taylor

The Forest of Dean site has two entries for a John Taylor around that time and neither fit with a birth date of 1804

John Taylor bapt. 11 January 1799 parents John and Mary
John Taylor bapt. 18 July 1814 parents James and Nancy

I've tried various spellings of Taylor and those two are the only ones nearest to 1804.

Re: John Taylor

I had the first one originally Em, but I was trying to find other information that said he was the one who went to Twickenham, but I didn't find anything. I don't even know if he was a blacksmith

I think the one in 1814 is a bit late, so I'll take another look at the one b1799.
I was wondering if there was any luck in finding him in the 1861 census?? Didn't know if there may be a clue there??

Thanks for looking

Amanda

Re: John Taylor

Nothing coming up for me when I search the Censuses. Used different spellings and dob, with and without occupation but zilch. Sorry
