Re: Thomas Brotherick

I can find the family, transcribed as Broderick, in the 1851 Census living in Seaton Delaval, Tynemouth but after that they disappear.
The Census ref is HO107/2412/F255/p6

Sorry not to be more helpful.

Re: Thomas Brotherick

Have found the family 1861 Census father Edward 42 Mariner, children Mary Anne 14 Thomas 10, Eliz 3. It was listed under surname Bradrick.
Have found trees listed that he died Buller New Zeland 1916 but have been unable to find immigration records.

Re: Thomas Brotherick

Geoff I agree with you on not being clear cut.

It may be nothing but the NZ cemetery records show his name as Thomas Edward Broderick but there is no mention of a middle name for Thomas on Civil Registration Birth Index or the 1851/61 Census.
